Desktop PC shipments and liquid crystal display TV shipments increased 15% and 8.5% month on month to 460,000 units and 325,000 units, respectively.</P]<P]Some sources indicated that Wistron's laptop PC shipments will grow slower than those of rivals such as Quanta Computer and Compal Electronics Inc in the fourth quarter of this year because sales of Acer's low-voltage notebook were disappointing.</P]<P]However, Wistron's diversified product portfolio, which includes a smartphone and an LCD TV, is expected to help the firm grow. Sales of these two items currently contribute 10% of Wistron's revenue.</P]
